ReadShelf is a book and audiobook tracking platform. We provide tools to log your reading, track reading time, generate monthly reports, and create an annual reading summary (Wrapped). Our website also offers free tools such as a reading speed test, book quiz, curated book lists, and blog content.
2. User Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access data belonging to other users
- You agree not to use automated tools to scrape or collect data from our platform
3. Intellectual Property
Book metadata (titles, authors, page counts, covers) is sourced from the Google Books API and other public sources. Book summaries, blog content, curated lists, and all original content on this platform are the intellectual property of ReadShelf. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without written permission.
4. Limitation of Liability
ReadShelf is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in book data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
