Biography
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian author whose novels and essays have made her one of the most important literary voices of her generation. Born in Enugu, Nigeria in 1977, she grew up on the campus of the University of Nigeria. Her novel Americanah won the National Book Critics Circle Award and was named one of the best books of the decade by multiple publications. Her TED talk 'The Danger of a Single Story' has been viewed over 30 million times, and her feminist essay We Should All Be Feminists was sampled by Beyoncé and distributed to every 16-year-old in Sweden.
